Eugene Animal Hospital was founded in the 1950’s and was purchased by Dr. Rena Cowan in 1975.  We have always had a reputation as one of the finest veterinary hospitals in the area.  We have been AAHA certified since 1974, meaning we meet the highest standards of veterinary care.

Our mission is to provide your pet with the best possible care.  From surgery to basic nail clipping, we want to help ensure that your furry friend is as happy and healthy as can be.

We have a somewhat unique philosophy of involving our clients in every step of their pet’s care.  Instead of having lots of requirements that clients must comply with (such as requiring blood work and IV fluids for any anesthesia procedure no matter how young and healthy the patient or how short the procedure), we spend lots of time explaining things so you can make the best choices for both your pets and your family.
